Australian racing's new princess is born - Black Caviar has a sister

Little does she know but a filly born last Wednesday night will one day have the weight of expectations from the Australian public on her shoulders.
Gilgai Farm, owned by Ric Jamieson, the breeder of Australia's world champion sprinter Black Caviar, welcomed into the world a full relation to the undefeated superstar, who's won her 22 starts.

The bay filly by Bel Esprit out of Helsinge was foaled at 10.30pm. Gilgai Farm's website said, "Both mother and daughter are safe and well".

The filly is also a half-sister to this year's Caulfield Guineas winner All Too Hard and the filly that topped this year's Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale when knocked down to Flemington trainer Danny O'Brien and BC3 Thoroughbred for $2.6 million.

She is also a sister to Moshe, who commenced stud duties this season at Eliza Park Stud in Victoria.
