Late arrival for Black Caviar after flight delayed

UNBEATEN superstar Black Caviar will now arrive home in Melbourne 24 hours later than expected due to her flight home being delayed.

Black Caviar will now leave England at 2:05pm local time Monday arriving in Melbourne at 2:10am on Wednesday morning.

Trainer Peter Moody tweeted "Black Caviar & Voila Ici's flight to Australia was unfortunately delayed by 24 hours so all going well they will be en route this evening," Moody said,

Black Caviar sustained muscle tears and severe bruising during her narrow victory at Royal Ascot at in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

Black Caviar is unbeaten in 22 career starts.
