Queen of turf Black Caviar competes last leg of exhausting journey home

CHAMPION mare Black Caviar has left Werribee quarantine centre after a two-week stint.

It was a frisky Black Caviar who left the enclosure and headed to the float for the final part of her journey home to Peter Moody’s Caulfield stables.

Decision on Caviar future in next fortnight

Haydon said the mare would spend a few of hours at Peter Moody’s stables before heading to an undisclosed location for a well-earned rest.

Moody said no decision would be made on her future until he had had a good look at her and her connections had returned from overseas.
